Some precedents to do with form and facade - some of them aren't actually cinemas or theaters, I just liked the way the form or language worked

Cinema Pushkinsky - form & folded facade, elevated from street, entrance from across street

Kilden Performing Arts Centre, Norway - form & material continuity from outside to inside

Zenith Music Hall, France - Interesting use of exterior fabric, can't tell the fabric skin from the inside

Festival Hall Of The Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Austria - dramatic form, prevalent architectural language

Thebarton Community Centre, Adelaide - continuity of form from all sides

Huanacu warehouse & offices, Chile - continuity of form from all sides, transparency of skin

Initial Design Concepts/ Site Analysis

 

 

I have changed my site to a car park at the end of Green Street. It fits better with the family demographic as it is near St Anne's and Newtown Schools, and with the Market idea, as it is more pedestrian accessible/ friendly. You can get to the site off four streets, and so it will probably need to have multiple entrances.
